Shown is the shift in potency vs. small changes in holding potential for the compound Phenytoin on the hNav1.1 sodium channel. IC50 values were 7.1µM at -50 mV and 76µM at -65mV. Essen's experience with the IonWorks™ platform enables assay protocols which can detect subtle changes in use-dependence and voltage-dependence.
